· What are eyelash extensions?
Eyelash extensions are a synthetic material that looks like an eyelash, applied to each natural eyelash. They come in various curls, lengths, and thicknesses to give you unlimited options on your desired look.
· What types of eyelash extensions does Boise Lash Lounge provide?
We provide anything from Classic to Mega Volume and they can all be customized to look any way you want them to.
· How are eyelash extensions applied?
Our eyelash extensions are applied with a medical grade adhesive, 1 or multiple false lashes per 1 natural lash to provide the desired look.
· Will it damage my natural eyelashes?
No. We use the highest quality product and master technique to ensure that your natural eyelashes are never compromised. Your eyelashes are important, which is why we have taken the time to test dozens of different false lashes and glues to ensure you receive the best.
· How long do they last?
With our product and technique, it’s very common to have your lashes looking fabulous for up to 5 weeks. However, if you want to keep them looking fresh and amazing, we recommend fills every 2 weeks.
· How long can I wear eyelash extensions?
With an experienced lash artist that knows what they are doing, you can have lash extensions for your entire life. At Boise Lash Lounge, we will ensure you NEVER have to go without long, beautiful eyelashes again.
· Can I wear mascara?
If you feel you must wear mascara, we recommend Eyelash extension safe mascara. Never use products that contain oils, the oils degrade the integrity of the glue and cause it to deteriorate.
· How long does a full set take?
Depending on the style you request and the fullness of your natural eyelashes, a full set can range from 90 to 120 minutes.
· How can I make my eyelash extensions last as long as possible?
Follow proper after care.
· Can I remove them if I don’t like my eyelash extensions?
Yes, we can remove your extensions if you change your mind. We do not recommend removing them yourself, as you can possibly ruin your natural eyelashes. If they are just too full, we can remove a few and see if you like them then.
Wash off all makeup around eyes prior to your eyelash extensions appointment.
We recommend not wearing contacts if possible.
